The Department of Finance in the School of Business at Siena College is accepting applications for an adjunct faculty to teach FINC025, Personal Finance, in the summer and fall 2021 semesters. This 3 hour survey/lecture-based course is a practical money management course offered to all Siena majors. Major topics include budgeting, managing credit, retirement planning, insurance needs, personal taxes, and home buying. The summer sessions are 4 or 6 week sessions and can be taught morning, afternoon, or evenings. The fall course can be taught day or evening.
Requirements for these positions include an MBA, CFP or other advanced degree or designation. A specialization or concentration in finance at either/both the undergraduate or graduate level is preferred. Experience in personal money management, financial planning, or financial literacy is desirable. Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level in Finance is beneficial. A background screening will be required.
