The Siena College Office of Development & External Affairs invites applications for the entry level position of Development Assistant, Gift Processing in the Development Operations and Research Department. This position assists with pledge and gift processing tasks (including entry in banner, documentation, preparing/processing gift batches, running and mailing acknowledgement letters, following up with donors, etc.). Miscellaneous data entry/data integrity projects will also be assigned by the Director of Development Operations & Research.

This is a full time (35 hours) in person appointment located in Loudonville, NY. Our regular business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 4:30 with an hour for lunch. You may be asked on occasion to help support events outside of regular business hours.

Job Requirements:

A high school diploma or the equivalent is required, Associates' degree preferred. Proficiency in all MS Office Professional Suite applications is also required. 1-2 years of professional experience in data entry, gift entry and/or higher education is preferred. Additional desirable qualifications include excellent attention to detail, customer service experience, ability to balance multiple projects, and Internet skills. Specifically, applicants should have the ability to effectively work in a fast paced team environment. Competitive salary and benefits. Collegial work environment.
