Lowville Farmers Cooperative, Inc. is a farmer member owned cooperative serving the agricultural needs of farmers in Lewis County, NY and surrounding areas of Northern New York State. The focus of the business is the vibrant dairy industry in the area. We manufacture livestock feed, sell bulk and bag dairy and livestock feed, bulk and bag fertilizer, a full line of field seeds, agricultural chemicals and farm supplies. Additionally, we have a Building Supplies Department, a Hardware and Clothing-Footwear Department.

This position will work with the Department Manager and with Farmers on selling Animal Health, Feed, and Fertilizer needs. You will be responsible for Inventory Control, Re-Stocking, Assisting in Bagging of Feed/Fertilizer, and Customer Service of loading products for customers. The Laborer must be a team player and work closely with all our staff, Nutritionist, and Crop Advisors.

Position requirements

Required, Operate a Forklift, Skid Steer, and Telehandler Equipment. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Required, valid drivers license. Required, demonstrated ability to work independently. Must have good verbal & written communication. Must be able to keep accurate records. Will be required to work Saturdays as needed. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have good attitude and open minded to handle stressful situations. Duties listed may change as situations arise. Benefits
