GlobalFoundries Quality Management - Summer Internship in Malta, New York
Location: Malta, NY
Summary of Role
The intern will work with our team leads on specific assignments per Manufacturing Quality functions (Material Disposition Board, 8D Problem Solving, Failure Mode Engineering Analysis) in line with GlobalFoundries Quality Management System and business processes.
In the material disposition management, function Intern will be working with the team to establish/maintain/improve KPI dashboards to help with analytics to drive improvement to the business process efficiencies. He/She would train on an updated software system and help create job aids for the fab community. He/She will also be supporting internal 8D audits together with audit team and help with analysis on results and reporting.
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
BS Student enrolled in an accredited program on Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Quality Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related fields.
- Experience: any internship experience
- Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
- Manufacturing Systems knowledge/ Quality management Systems Exposure (ISO) / Semiconductor courses
