Summary of Role:
This position is for an Internship in the Test Engineering Team in Malta, NY supporting the daily operations and engineering analysis of the Test Engineering Team. At the end of your internship, you will have an excellent overview of semiconductor manufacturing and the key functions of Test Engineering.
Essential Responsibilities include:
Correlate Test programs between different test platforms
Understand and document differences between different test platforms.
Optimize C++ tester algorithms to match data between systems.
Develop C++ tester algorithms for test time optimization.
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Education – Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s in Electronics, Circuit Design, Electrical Engineering or related field.
Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
Prior related internship or co-op experience
Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong planning & organizational skills
Demonstrated experience with programming languages C/C++ and Unix
Basic understanding of inline Silicon Photonic process or testing methodologies advantageous.
