Downeast Cider

Downeast Cider is the #1 hard cider brand in New England and #2 hard cider in the country. Our first batches of unfiltered cider were fermented in the dorms of Bates College, Maine. We're now a team of 100, with new roles opening across all departments.

We produce, package, and ship our products at the cider house in East Boston, which is also the location of our office, taproom, and seasonal outdoor bar.

Summer Sampling Rep

  • Around 30 hrs/week

  • Visit bars and restaurants on a strict, structured schedule

  • We want downeast cider to be top of mind for consumers in every city we’re in. we need you to:

  • sample cider, answer questions about the product and company, & engage with customers

  • make everyone’s sampling experience one they won’t forget - we really mean it

  • it will be work. a lot of work. it will be, and should be, fun as hell.

    Who we’re looking for, you should be;

  • serious about the time commitment - this is a night and weekend job

  • all about the hustle - you’ll sample over 1000 people each weekend

  • prompt and always ready to go - you’ll visit over 50 bars and restaurants this summer

  • able to make friends with anyone in 60 seconds, and turn any bar into a party

  • be down-to-earth, approachable, and seek out meaningful conversations

  • expected schedule : thurs & fri 1-8, sat 12-8, sun 10-7. every weekend.

  • program running mid-May through the end of summer, with potential to extend


  • you must be 21

    • based in greater nyc
  • be able to lift 50 lbs

  • can’t say this enough-you must be a hustler. you have to love to work on your feet.

  • $25 per hour + $0.575 per mile
