The Leviton Finance team is looking for a Part-Time Deduction Representative I to join the Credit, Accounts Receivable & Claims department. We need individuals who thrive on challenges and are eager to learn. This rare, part-time opportunity will be responsible for processing incoming emails, and entering returns and credit into Leviton’s systems. This position is part of the Credit, AR & Claims Finance Department. Other responsibilities will include evaluating, processing, and resolving customer claims (deductions), working together with customers and various internal departments. This position provides opportunities for growth with on-the-job training and job skill development through challenging work, collaboration with seasoned professionals and management support. Responsibilities Process incoming email requests for return and credit requests. Record returns and credit memos via data entry in Leviton’s systems. Interface with various departments such as outside salesforce, logistics, warehouse personnel, accounts receivable, and customers to enter returns and credit memos. Escalates unresolved issues to management in a timely manner. Chargeback and collect on invalid deductions. Participate in training new personnel, as well as cross training existing personnel. Build rapport and maintain relationships across the organization that will assist in resolving root cause problems that cause deductions. Sustain transactional productivity per department’s guidelines. Qualifications Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel Must have good analytical and organizational skills. Good problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills. Capability to work both independently and in a team environment. Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment. This position is Part-Time, 29 hours per week is preferred. Education & Experience Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Entry level Position, up to 2-3 years’ experience in general office practices preferred.
