About This Location
The Regional Finance Manager is responsible for managing financial analysis needs of the entire RVP sub-region. This individual will manage the analytics workload for the sub-region; have regular communication with the sub-region RVP and operational teams in order to prioritize projects and deliverables; work on strategic plans, models, presentations and analyses to support all operational activities for the sub-region. This individual will be required to be a financial thought leader in the sub-region, providing the management team with analytical and critical thinking, recommendations based on thorough analysis and depth of understanding of the sub-region structure.
Manages analytics workload of the sub-regions.
Communicates with sub-region RVP and operations team on regular basis.
Prioritizes analytics needs of the sub-region in order to deliver high quality and timely product for most value-add and crucial projects.
Presents the monthly sub-region market financial review and various analyses Zone SVP and Finance Leader.
Oversees all monthly financial operations for the market, including reporting, reconciliation, accruals, payroll & expenses.
Provides monthly executive level market financial analysis citing key financial drivers such as volume, operational, seasonal, and other metric issues as relevant.
Assists in the development of a regional dashboard for executive leadership and operators.
Works as market liaison with both internal and external organizational customers, namely, Human Resources, Legal, Corporate Accounting, Revenue Cycle Management, Field Operations, Business Developmentand practices within the local market.Liaison and controller for sub-region market medical practices in order to asses any implications on sub-region finance.
Champions organizational process improvements which address sub-region pain points, to include partnering with senior leadership within the corporate FP&A and Division Finance organizations.
Identifies major market financial problems and collaborates with Field Operations to devise and execute turnaround plans.
Manages sub-region’s budget process through engaging with Field Operations as well as key leaders within practices. Works towards being efficient, effective, and timely during the process in order to enhance and improve the Budget process.
Serves as overall sub-region Finance leader for the market, ultimately responsible for all financial deliverables.
Applies problem solving and analytical skills in order to write monthly variance analyses for sub-region market medical practices. Understands how to explain the story behind the variances, along with internal and external factors associated with the analyses.
Capable of identifying problems and creating plans, then following through with the execution in a coordinated manner. Transforms problems into solutions.
Builds key relationships with internal sub-region operations teams and practice leadership.

Develops financial regional strategies that enhance the sub-region medical practices. Takes initiative to continuously improve the sub-region performance.
Prepares various ad-hoc reports as requested.
Assists in the professional development of financial analysts.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required, CPA / MBA preferred.
10+ years of experience required.
5+ years experience in Operations Finance and/or Healthcare.
Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills with ability to clearly articulate complex information to others.
Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
Proven ability to perform under tight deadlines and to adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirements.
Ability to work and solve problems autonomously.

Provide guidance, mentorship and coaching to analysts and peers.
Results driven and P&L Accountability.
Proficiency in Excel.
Strong working knowledge of basic office and PC applications, including MS Word and PowerPoint.
Experience with financial and accounting reporting systems.
