FirstService Residential Property Management Intern in Nanuet, New York

Job Overview:Â Â

As a Property ManagementInternyou will work closely with our Operations Team on all aspects of third-party Community Association Management. You will also be working closely with our HR and leadership teams on career development.ÂÂ

This program runs from June 11 th through August 16 th and will be a full time, in-office paid internship.ÂÂ

Your Responsibilities:Â Â

  • Log work requests in Connect and generate work orders for maintenance staff and/or contractorsÂ
  • Update work order log with notes and action taken by vendors.Â
  • Update and maintain community information in Connect, including but not limited to the Community Web Site, Community Projects, Management Reports and all Association documents and formsÂ
  • Utilize Resident Alert featurein order tokeep homeowners apprised of Association activities and important updates.Â
  • Assistwith seasonal community needs such as pool passes, parking permits, and seasonal maintenance coordination.ÂÂ


Skills & Qualifications:Â Â

  • College Student entering their Junior or Senior year with a focus in Real Estate, Property Management, General Business, Hospitality, or Government/Public AdministrationÂÂ
  • Great attitude and willingness to learn and grow.ÂÂ
  • Ability to work with sensitive and/or confidential information.ÂÂ
