Are you a seasoned leader in the Clinical Research field looking for an opportunity to shape and influence patient recruitment strategies across the United States? Our Site Network Group is seeking a Director of Patient Recruitment to provide strategic direction for our newly consolidated Patient Recruitment team. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by optimizing advertising expenditure, enhancing conversion rates from patient recruitment campaigns, and improving enrollment delivery across the network. Job Overview

As the Director of Patient Recruitment, you will lead a large team of professionals focused on improving patient recruitment and retention effectiveness for Avacare’s customers. You will develop plans to ensure the allocation of human, material, system, and fiscal resources for your area of accountability. You will also determine the department’s strategic goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with senior management priorities, and lead strategic initiatives across disciplines.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and site representatives to develop and implement operational approaches that apply best-in-class strategies for addressing patient recruitment and retention challenges.

  • Effectively manage advertising resources, create engaging advertisements, and develop strategic marketing plans while continuously monitoring and improving campaign performance.

  • Lead the operationalization of new methods of recruitment and retention, including industry partnerships, big data, and emerging technologies.

  • Provide senior oversight support across active clinical programs, acting as a liaison for the PRP team across both internal and client teams.

  • Develop and implement approaches to continuously drive customer and investigator loyalty and a best-in-class reputational brand of Avacare at the site and patient level.

  • Manage staff in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable regulations, including planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • 12 years of relevant experience, with 6 years of leadership experience.

  • Knowledge of the drug development processes and in-depth knowledge of Site & Patient Networks processes and practices.

  • Ability to manage a large team.

  • Experience with Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities.

  • Proficiency in AI/ML in Patient Recruitment.

  • Knowledge and ability to apply GCP/ICH and applicable regulatory guidelines.

  • Advanced ability to analyze metrics and information; ensuring activities and strategies are data-driven.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.

  • Superior leadership skills, effective organizational and problem-solving skills, and effective time management skills.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $144,800.00 - $268,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
