JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to provide support within the planning, scheduling, coordinating of facilities moves, special projects and events. Assists in maintenance of furniture inventories, space planning, and related records / files.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is Full-Time, Temp to hire.

Proactively assist with office move-related issues on account.

Ensure outstanding client satisfaction throughout the move management process by proactive communication, scheduling, and ensuring a smooth, efficient, and stress-free moving experience to our end-users.

Ensure all move management activities are performed in manner consistent with documented processes.

Incorporate “best practice” into move projects.

Ensure move processes are managed in accordance with the client’s and Company’s policies and procedures.

Adherence to move management schedule and budget.

Ensure data accuracy within move management system – Tririga Space Management System.

Supervise and coordinate vendor work during all moves; especially large restacks.

Process other office related requests as assigned by the manager.

Be present at all large restack moves and post move support.

Assist with the maintenance / updating of numerous SDSK tickets coming into the move management queue. SDSK's pertaining to New Hires, (EMPMs) - internal transfers, FON update, Move Requests, and large Restack moves for all of North America and West/South Coast Regions.

Assist with the on-boarding of all New Hires.

Assist with the onboarding of Summer/Fall Interns.

Assist with the internal move process for all EMPM employee transfers.

Assist with onboarding all FSD Engineering Candidates upon Graduation. This will also include the Global Data Training Class Candidates.

Candidate will be a part of Team M.A.K.O.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Required. Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

None.

Valid driver's license, if driving required in conjunction with job duties.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Knowledge of and proficiency with Tririga Space Management System, (but willing to train); Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project and Outlook)

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Ability to represent a positive and professional image

Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to use work order system.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
