The Bill Moore Internship honors and celebrates the legacy of our former colleague Bill Moore. Bill was a mentor and friend to many Accenture colleagues around the world, and this internship celebrates both Bill's passion for his work and his dedication to supporting colleagues by offering mentoring, upskilling and immersive learning opportunities for law students in multiple Global Service Legal areas.

At Accenture, Global Services Legal’s mission is to “drive sustainable business growth for Accenture by providing deep legal expertise at the intersection of business strategy, industry and technology in a highly dynamic environment.” The Global Services Legal team functions as the integrator between various other parts of Legal, coordinating between the multidisciplinary areas of deep expertise across the wider Legal team, to deliver one holistic Legal perspective to the business.

Internship Description:

The 8-week summer internship program will provide interns with the opportunity to work with Accenture lawyers and other legal professionals who support Accenture’s Global Services Legal (GSL) function.

Features of the program include:

  • participation in Accenture’s summer analyst program with students joining various groups and services across North America

  • participation in training programs highlighting different areas of GSL, such as IP, Ecosystems, Strategy & Consulting, Operations, and more.

  • pairing with a mentor who will serve as an additional advisor on skill development and networking.

  • work in pairs and small groups to complete projects, while developing collaborative technology skills

Required qualifications:

  • You are either an incoming or current first-year (1L) law student at an ABA accredited law school.

Applicants should submit a resume and cover letter when applying. In order to be considered, applicants must submit BOTH a resume and cover letter.

In the cover letter, please include a brief statement responding to the question "what interests you most about the intersection of technology and legal."

For pre-law candidates, please submit a letter of acceptance to law school at the time of application.

For 1L law students, we will request a law school transcript as well as 2 letters of recommendations at a later date.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
