Senior Product Designer
Summary
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join a cross-functional product team in creating world-class experiences that help people find and enjoy a home of their own.
A Senior Product Designer plays an integral role in the performance and operation of a high-functioning product team. This role is expected to partner with the Product Manager and Engineering Lead from start to finish, from initial research and understanding of user problems, through scoping and the creation of user journeys, all the way to polished pixels, shipped to the hands of our 100 million unique users.
We're not looking for a unicorn; Senior Product Designers should have a high degree of comfort performing all the duties throughout the full design process of a product or feature their team is shipping. As with any seasoned designer, we fully expect that you will have stronger skills in some areas than others (i.e., stronger visual chops than research prowess). To be successful in this role, you will need to confidently partner with your cross-functional counterparts to tackle design responsibilities for the full product lifecycle. While you will be the primary designer on your squad, the full Design team is always ready to assist and collaborate. You will additionally have hands-on support from your Director of Design, to whom this role reports.
