AECOM Sr. Environmental Permitting Specialist in New York City, New York
AECOM is seeking a seasoned Sr. Environmental Permitting Specialist in the New York City/downstate area to support multiple IAP Client Sectors. We are looking for the right individual with experience in environmental permitting experience in the NY/NJ area including applied experience with NYSDEC land use regulations, USACE S. 404/10, 401 WQC, SEQRA and related programs.

- BA/BS and 6+ in environmental permitting experience in the NY/NJ area including applied experience with NYSDEC land use regulations, USACE S. 404/10, 401 WQC, SEQRA and related programs or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
10 years of environmental permitting experience in the NY/NJ
Experience with Art VII and NYC Environmental Regulatory Programs desirable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills,
prior experience contributing and leading env. permitting applications required.
Projects and client groups include power/transmission, linear/transportation, waterways development/resiliency and offshore wind/marine/power projects.
Remote work location flexible but ability to participate in NY area meetings/projects desirable.
