The Office Administrator / Receptionist for Bridge’s New York City office will support the Client Solutions Group (CSG) as well as executives in Bridge’s Debt Strategies group and Bridge’s Opportunity Zone team. The ideal candidate should have a positive, service-oriented mindset and be hungry, eager to learn and grow with the firm.

Expectations for the role:

  • Greet guests and visitors and accommodate any needs/requests

  • Handle all building notifications, security, and access for vendors and guests

  • Maintain conference rooms

  • Manage the conference room schedules

  • Answer and field all calls appropriately

  • Distribute mail daily; send sensitive client/investor materials via FedEx, UPS, and DHL

  • Run errands for the office and occasionally run personal errands for members of the team

  • Liaise with IT department to assist with any issues as needed

  • Order office supplies and maintain pantry items

  • Maintain the kitchen’s cleanliness and order

  • Working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday and it is expected for the General Officer Administrator to be physically present in the office at that time

What you will need:

  • Office administration or reception experience is highly preferred but not required with corporate experience being a plus

  • Ability to solve problems, organize systems and establish procedures

  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task and demonstrate initiative

  • Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

  • Detail oriented with excellent office skills including typing and proofreading

  • Ability and willingness to manage busy executive office taking on all tasks as needed

  • Excellent organizational, communication (written/oral), and interpersonal skills

  • Must possess a friendly and positive attitude

  • Must be a team player

  • Demonstrate effective conflict resolution and maintain a calm work environment with managers and co-workers and callers
