JPMorgan Chase 2022 Design Development Summer Program in New York, New York


About you

If you're excited about starting a career in product design and financial technology, you'll find your place in our Design Analyst Internship.

The DXD design analyst intern will partner with internal DXD teams (UX design, UX research, Service Design, Visual Design, Operations) to learn, grow, and contribute to our portfolio. Interns will be mentored by DXD's design practitioners to create visual solutions, research the needs of the user, and implement design thinking within our projects. Design interns will communicate with a network of supportive colleagues to understand the firm, client needs, and the scope of DXD's book of work.

We are looking for diverse design backgrounds and perspectives to help us create innovative solutions for our clients.

Our Design Analyst Internship is a ten-week program centered around supporting budding UX and product design professionals by providing a welcoming and diverse environment to learn and grow in the financial technology space. Upon successful completion of the internship, you will be invited to apply for our Design Analyst Program (DAP). Designers with non-traditional backgrounds are encouraged to apply. You will contribute to meaningful projects, develop your business acumen, and make fulfilling connections with our team members.

Key skills include:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or program in UX design, product design, interaction design, human computer interaction, visual design or similar with an expected graduation date of December 2022 or June 2023

  • An interest in financial services and investment banking

  • A digital portfolio or sample pdf demonstrating an ability to think from the perspective of the user

  • Proficiency in design programs (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision)

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment

  • Excellent organization, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

  • Relevant experience in school or community organizations
