Related Management Company 2022 Summer Associate, Affordable Foundation in New York, New York

Responsibilities

The Summer Associate will provide support for Related Affordable Foundation projects including budgeting, content creation, and project management.
Assist with Foundation monthly report preparation
Collaborate with Acquisition, Construction, Portfolio Management and Property Management teams
Create policy and procedure guide for grantmaking activities
Craft compelling online content about Foundation funded programs
Effectively communicate relevant project information to senior leadership
Engage with nonprofit and resident services partners
Identify Related Affordable Foundation scholarship program recipients
Monitor Foundation grant awards and budget
Review grant applications and performance reports

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will be a first-year graduate student with the following skills:
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Public Policy or equivalent field
Two (2)+ years of relevant experience in nonprofit or public sector
Strong project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
A strong passion for social impact, economic mobility and volunteerism
