Legends Hospitality Account Executive, Group Sales in New York, New York



Positioned at the top of One World Trade Center, the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, on levels 100, 101, and 102 – One World Observatory provides guests with unique, panoramic views of New York City, its most iconic sites, and surrounding waters from 1,250 feet. A customized guest experience complements the seemingly endless views - which evoke feelings of the City’s signature pride, hope and determination - including special interactive experiences and dining options, plus a sit-down restaurant.

The Account Executive, Group Sales will be responsible for the following:

  • Proactively assist in developing future programs that will benefit the Observatory’s long-term sales goals.

  • Achieve established Group Sales Ticket Goals

  • Provide superior customer service to clients and prospects

  • Contact sales leads through phone and email outreach, as well as face to face meetings

  • Generate referrals from personal/professional network, if applicable

  • Complete the booking process from reservation to invoicing, payment, ticket fulfillment and execution

  • Aide Group Sales staff in guest service relations and activation of Groups on a day-to-day basis

  • Respond in a timely manner to calls, inquiries and emails

  • Develop client relationships to ensure long-term patronage

  • Manage client-related issues in a calm, professional manner

  • Upsell into added-value products

  • Attend networking events and trade shows as needed

  • Non-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays as necessary)

  • Bilingual a plus.

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills — diplomatic, tactful, customer-focused with a professional phone manner and ability to interact with a variety of clients

  • Desire to grow a fruitful career in attractions, sports and entertainment
