New York University Adjunct Instructor (for Counseling Masters Programs) in New York, New York

The Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness (https://steinhardt.nyu.edu/degree/ma-counseling-mental-health-and-wellness) and School Counseling (https://steinhardt.nyu.edu/degree/ma-school-counseling-or-bilingual-school-counseling) programs at NYU are hiring instructors for the Summer and Fall 2022 semesters. Must have work experience or have taught the following courses:

Summer Campus-Based Program

  • APSY-GE 2684 Marriage, Couple & Family Counseling (7/28 - 8/17) - evenings

  • APSY-GE 2634 The Dynamics of Vocational Development (7/7-8/17) - evenings

  • APSY-GE 2682 Cross-Cultural Counseling (6/14-7/06) - evenings

  • APSY-GE 2812 Practicum in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness* (5/23-8/17) -daytime

*must be licensed to teach this course

Fall Campus-Based Program - September 1 to December 14 - mix of evening and daytime openings

  • APSY-GE 2070 Research and Evaluation Methods in Behavioral Sciences

  • APSY-GE 2634 The Dynamics of Vocational Development

  • APSY-GE 2684 Marriage,Couple & Family Counseling

Qualified candidates will hold a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology, Counseling Education, or Clinical Psychology and have previous graduate level teaching experience.
