Based at Westfield World Trade Center, the Oculus Beer Garden will cater to guests who are working, living and visiting the area. Once onsite, guests can sit and relax and enjoy a drink and food with a view of Calatrava’s iconic Oculus set in the backdrop.
Under the direction of management, the Alcohol Compliance Representative ensures responsible service of alcohol throughout the venue in accordance with state and company policies. This individual will assist staff with any alcohol related issues; observe and document any alcohol related issues and monitor employees’ adherence to the Legends Alcohol Policy.
Supervises the serving of alcohol by the Beer Garden team
Follows all responsible alcohol service guidelines and ensures the team is adhering to all alcohol service guidelines as required by Federal, State and Local laws and in accordance with Legends’ standards
Observe and document all alcohol related issues or violations
Monitor all points of egress to ensure alcohol does not leave the premise
Communicate responsible alcohol service policies to guests
Assists with alcohol cut-off 30 minutes prior to closing or determined by Management
Supports Beer Garden staff with alcohol related guest issues, including stopping of service
Maintains an outgoing, positive attitude and a professional demeanor
Interacts with guests and staff to ensure guest satisfaction
Adheres to all Legends Uniform and Grooming Guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have experience working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to interact with co-workers in a positive and professional manner
Excellent communication skills
Prior alcohol compliance experience strongly recommended
Must be proactive, self-motivated, organized and the ability to prioritize as needed
Must be detail oriented
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change quickly
Must be able to obtain food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications.
Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
Must have the ability to lift, push, pull approximately 25lbs
Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours during a single shift, while navigating ramps, stairs and elevators.
Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays
Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety training
