Overview

FleishmanHillard is a global integrated communications agency delivering transformational outcomes for some of the world’s biggest brands. FleishmanHillard New York is hiring a Fellow, copywriter. We’re looking for a conceptual thinker, someone who can translate an insight into an idea, and an idea into an execution. Candidates should be handy in a brainstorm, persuasive and engaging in 140 characters and in 1,000 words, pop culture literate, and fluent in all major social platforms. Immaculate spelling and excellent grammar are appreciated.

Fellows contribute to client projects while gaining practical experience in the field of integrated communications from some of the industry’s best counselors. Our ideal candidates will join us full-time 40 hours per week starting this Summer. The candidates would join us in a hybrid model of working in-person at a minimum two days per week and remote. Applicants must be in the New York area.

The Alfred Fleishman Diversity Fellowship is an industry-leading program that offers the opportunity for individuals to combine their communication talents with their passion for diversity and inclusion. Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates will be recent graduates, available to work 40 hours a week.

  • Committed to cultivating diverse teams and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.

  • Basic job requirements for Fellows include excellent written and oral communications skills, an innate curiosity, and desire to learn in a fast-pace and ever-changing environment.

  • Candidates also need to provide a portfolio that demonstrates conceptual thinking. Fellows have the opportunity to be a part of the account staff teams and assist with media campaigns, developing media materials, conducting account research, and other account-related activities. All candidates must also exhibit a desire and motivation to learn and the ability to work as part of a team.

  • A demonstrated passion for ethnic or cultural diversity, and experience advocating for DE&I in either the work, school, or volunteer setting.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $41,600 to $45,760. per hour. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
