To learn more: . POSITION SUMMARY *Sony Corporation of America (SCA) has an opportunity for an Analyst, Executive Compensation to join our New York City-based HR Team. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day support to the entertainment compensation committee, partner with Sony Group Corporation (SGC) Human Resources on executive compensation and equity programs and collaborate with SGC's other US businesses in the entertainment industry. This role will report to the Senior Director, Human Resources.This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in our NYC office.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Support the day-to-day operations of Entertainment Compensation Committee under the supervision of Senior Director, Executive Compensation.- Responsible for facilitating the Committee's review and approval of proposals from group companies by analyzing and providing necessary supporting information to the Committee.- Provide support to the compensation committee members for evaluating executive compensation strategy, compensation programs, and annual and long-term incentive programs of each group company to ensure that the strategy and programs are market competitive and aligned with market best practices.- Support the development, implementation and maintenance of long-term incentive programs including equity programs (stock options, restricted stock and RSUs) with close collaboration with group companies and headquarters in Japan.- Assist Senior Director, Executive Compensation with analysis and create proposals on executive compensation matters including tax and regulations for senior executives in the Sony entertainment companies and in headquarters in Japan.- Responsible for maintaining employment deal-related documents and records.- Support the salary survey process and evaluate market data for executive positions.- Plan and execute programs to promote collaboration among group companies in the U.S. (including areas other than compensation).- Additional projects and assignments as needed.Qualifications for PositionYour qualifications and experience should include:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.- 4+ years of experience in compensation in entertainment, media and technology industry.- Good knowledge of compensation plan design (fixed, variable, long-term and equity-based), process and programs. Pay Equity analysis experience a plus.- Experience in large-scale global companies is required.- Experience in building and maintaining cross-functional, cross-company partnerships.- Strong analytical and collaboration skills.- Experience with market pricing systems such as Willis Towers Watson, Radford, Payscale or Salary.com.- Strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Advanced Excel and Power Point skills.- Knowledge of SharePoint.- Skills in PowerBI are a plus.- Japanese language ability and/or cultural understanding is a plus.In addition to competitive pay and benefits, we offer an environment and culture that promotes Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
