Description

The Analyst, Workforce Management will be part of the cross-functional team that will support sales and payroll planning and labor budgeting processes for North America. The Analyst will perform analysis to support forecasting, labor generation, Scheduling and budgeting. The Analyst will be responsible for ensuring accuracy of forecasts and other relevant metrics/data.

The Analyst will assist in all enhancements to the labor model and support all activities to support the WFM system and business processes.

Key Accountabilities:

80% Financial Analysis

  • Validate forecast accuracies

  • Ensure correct forecasting models by brand/store/market and seasonality

  • Load non-sell labor drivers and ensure accurate non-sell labor allocation

  • Prepare and cascade payroll budgets across all freestanding stores in North America

  • Model labor across store types, accounting for uniqueness in Brands and formats

  • Create store-specific monthly labor budgets based on unique factors

  • Provide monthly bridge and other reporting for North America Finance

  • Support the development of a bottoms-up Annual budget process

  • Other analysis projects, as assigned

20% Support and Communication

  • Develop and deploy payroll guidance tool for field leadership and store teams

  • Provides feedback on, and answer questions about, all workforce management and payroll planning topics

  • Support issue management systems and deliver timely resolutions for stores and corporate partners.

  • Maintains positive/consistent written and verbal communications

  • Demonstrate behaviors and best practices of Estée Lauder Companies at all times

  • Provide Business support for all ELC field and functional teams

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Quantitatively-oriented, with strong ability to deliver accurate analysis and reporting

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong project management skills, and an ability to prioritize and manage workflow

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and internal departments

  • Must be able to work independently and be self-directed

  • High degree of professionalism when dealing with customers and colleagues

  • Experience in Retail Store Management preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Finance, Business or a related quantitative field

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent grasp of Excel.
