We are looking for a highly motivated individual familiar with the local NY/NJ Metro area capable of working on multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Typical projects include K-12 schools, transit station work, rail maintenance facilities, parking structures, office renovations, as well as other facility types. The Architectural Designer will also assist in the development of construction documents and construction phase services. Bachelor of Architecture required; Master of Architecture a plus
Minimum 3-5 years of architectural experience
Complete knowledge of construction drawing standards and building codes
Complete knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM / Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail and highly organized
Self-starter, able to work independently and able to multi-task
Transit architecture related experience (NJ Transit, LIRR, Metro North, NYC Transit etc.) a plus
NYC School Construction Authority or related experience a plus
