PVH Corp. Assistant Designer, CKUM Off-Price - CALVIN KLEIN in New York, New York
THE ROLE:
The Assistant Designer will support the Men’s Off-Price Calvin Klein Underwear Design team’s mission to deliver the best assortment for our cost conscious consumers.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Focused brand relevant research on trends, details, and silhouettes based on Seasonal Concepts
Detailed sketching in Illustrator for new and updated styles
Generate waistband artwork
Update, maintain and create Tech Packs in Centric
Assist Design in maintaining/organizing styles, trims and development library
Aide Design in the preparation of presentations to global regions and accounts
Manage and update design changes throughout the season, specifically Pre and Post Line Adoptions, Fittings and Late Adds/Reorders
Work closely with members of the Design Team as well as cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive product line is realized
YOUR EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: 0-1 year experience
Education: BA/BFA or associates with 1 year experience
Skills:
Great MAC/PC knowledge including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexible learning for new technology platform
