The Assistant Account Manager helps drive sales and profitability through the execution of daily operations based on the programming needs for assigned accounts. This position reports directly to the Director, Account Lead and works closely with them to develop and execute a strategic vision for each account. The Assistant Account Manager will serve as the brand's supporting point of contact for the retailer, communicating and coordinating retailer needs with various cross functional teams.

This person must have exemplary relationship management skills and will support all areas of the brand business across assigned accounts, ensuring flawless operations across business channels.

• Prepare weekly and monthly sales results and distribute a summary of findings. Update senior management teams with weekly business analysis and conclusions.

• Complete all new launch setup and 360-degree activation planning; manage and update the brand plan.

• Strategically program GWPs and sampling to drive new customer acquisition and return to brand.

• Partner with retailers to execute seasonal programming, including secondary placements, events, promotions and more.

• Post launch, analyze programming effectiveness and develop recommendations accordingly. Monitor competitive event and new launch programming to understand appropriate programing strategies.

• Manage field team communications and coordinate education efforts. Anticipate, identify and seek solutions for communication and operational opportunities.

• Collaborate with Field Team and Trade Marketing on developing counter tools for in-store events and activations.

• Attend all Seasonal Market and Post Market Meetings and manage subsequent Action Registries by account.

• Contribute input/ideas and help create presentations for Sr. Management, Retailers, internal and regional sales meetings.


• Undergraduate degree preferred.

• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in Beauty.

• Strategic mindset with excellent quantitative, analytical and problem solving capabilities.

• Flexible and able to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

• Strong relationship builder. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across cross functional teams.

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
