Job Summary: Responsible for the weekly, monthly and yearly reporting on retail sales of multiple Luxe brands. Provide standardized and custom analyses of sales data that enable the field force to diagnose and maximize sales volume with national accounts and at individual points of sale. Collaborates with Brand Partners on analytics tools and reporting to ensure user acceptance and use.
Oversee all Sales Analysis responsibilities including information management, retail, market share, Mix of Business, Promotional and Key Pillar reporting, sell thru reporting, by door and monthly bonus goal achievement for the Sell Thru Team for One Luxe.
Report weekly analytics (comparison to prior year & weekly plans) with insights for the purpose of identifying trends & patterns by retailer and across the brands
Review retails vs NPD Market allowing for deeper insights into weekly and monthly NPD reports
Compilation or assistance in compiling total Sales overview slides for Senior Management
Works cross functionally as the Information liaison between IT, Finance, and L'Oreal Luxe Divisional reporting including and ongoing Key Retail Sales
Manage the monthly reconciliation for Retails leveraging analytics to identify potential R&O by account for the mid-term team
Review Weekly Promotional Calendar by Brand and by Account for clearer understanding retail shifts and impact to retails
Act as Key Point Person in Sky related Data corrections and improvements
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
1-3 years in Analysis or like job field
Strong and effective Communication Skills
An understanding of sales & marketing
Experience in consumer Products Industry, Beauty Preferred
Strong Analytical, Project Management and Collaboration skills
Strong Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint & Word. Other data base proficiency such as Power BI a positive
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated sense of urgency; ability to deal effectively with the pressure of multiple tasks, deadlines and rapidly changing priorities
Retail knowledge preferable, but not requiredTasks, Duties & Responsibilities % of time spent
1. Report on Weekly Retail Sales: Collect, compile, and report weekly retail sales by retailer, including competitive data, for weekly FVP call and for report recap to distribution; generate various ad-hoc POS-based analyses as needed 40%
2. Key Program Promotional Reporting: Compile Promotional Set Reporting across seasons and during key hallmark moments such as Holiday. Ensure that set reporting tools can be utilized for diagnostics and quick decision making regarding potential markdowns. 15%
3 Lead the Partnership with IT on Systems: serve as LUXE point person for 3rd party vendor and for troubleshooting issues with any of the LUXE data, collaborate with the IT group to ensure continued data/systems support and troubleshoot issues; provide training on systems 10%
4. Supervise the management of support programs & tools for Field Force: Sales and Training Executive/Sales and Training Coordinator T&E, Sales and Training Coordinator Bonus Program, gratis, contests and presentations; ensure door count and alignment ensure for easy reporting 15%
5.Handle ad hoc requests: Work with Sales Promotions on various market media analyses, handle ad-hoc requests from senior management, field, marketing, sales admin, etc., serve as Project Lead for the LPD RRS Consumption Transformation project 20%
