About the Role
Bumble and bumble is looking for a talented front end Digital Producer who’s well versed in the latest design and code. This person will be responsible for the customer experience on Bumbleandbumble.com and executing on the creative vision to make it the ultimate destination for hair, delivering an irresistibly compelling experience to our customers & leading to richer consumer interactions, higher engagement and transactions, and ultimately cultivating deeper Brand love. They will report to the E-Commerce Director and be the lead in the technology focused aspect of all digital creative working on both the consumer and pro site, supporting product launch campaigns, special features, format extensions, site enhancements and full site overhauls. This person will also be the main liaison between the e-commerce team and ELC Online Production team.
Maintain and update content for NA sites on an ongoing basis, spearheading weekly (or daily) refreshes while utilizing multiple digital tools and platforms
Comprehensive understanding of content tools necessary to load and maintain product details and content (including but not limited to .net, CMS, etc) on site
Diligently track and monitor live site promotions and new launches
Track and report site bugs and resolutions with appropriate teams and resources.
Review of all creative deliverables to ensure functional specifications and requirements are met
Responsible for merchandising all product details and content modules on site, at times working in concert with ELC Online Site Production or Third Party Vendors to manage more technical implementations of content
Continually investigate and coordinate the implementation of new features, enhancements and functionalities keeping a detailed timeline of all rollouts
Provide oversight to ensure site performance, integrity and uptime standards are maintained managing and addressing escalations and resolutions as needed
Manage multiple, simultaneous projects varying in scope for new digital initiatives including creation of high-level timelines, risks assessments, coordination of internal status meetings and ongoing communication to ensure project objectives and deadlines are met
Work with appropriate stakeholders to obtain project requirements and definition to create overarching project scope
Manage communications with appropriate engineering resources and internal product teams to ensure project objectives are met for flawless, on-time delivery.
Manage the end to end QA and UAT process across all environments for all new features, enhancements and tool launches
Develop and maintain a Merchandising and Content Playbook for weekly, monthly and seasonal refreshes of existing content
Manage brand expectations within the confines of the allocated delivery projects – defining internal and external roles, responsibilities and due dates at project kick-off and ensuring communication is open, transparent and in line with the agreed communication plan
Guide stakeholders through the production process with timely status updates and meetings
Communicate all risks, concerns and potential delivery impact for each decision made throughout the project lifecycle to all key stakeholders.
Optimizing Online User Experience & User Interface
Monitor and verify site quality throughout its release cycle by working very closely with the QA team and Business teams.
Identify opportunities to improve site experience through new technology and site enhancements, optimize customer experience and site conversion by analyzing consumer behavior and multivariate testing
Lead cross functional teams to develop features and functionality for the site, including diagnostic tools (hair quiz, etc.)
esearch industry best practices and propose recommendations to maintain optimal site experience
Monitor international sites (Ecommerce & Coresites) regularly to ensure adherence to strict standards and ensure brand consistency
A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a fast-paced, professional ecommerce environment
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Extremely detail oriented and quality assurance focused
Strong ability to independently prioritize and manage day-to-day requests and needs
Working knowledge and experience of website technologies, product catalog or inventory tools, and ecommerce platforms and processes
Strong ability to effectively and professionally communicate across various levels of the organization (written and verbal) including engineering resources, features teams, creative designers, ecommerce counterparts, and senior management
Must be able to successfully track and manage multiple projects within given deadlines providing timely and consistent updates to necessary stakeholders.
Motivated to proactively, creatively and independently problem solve and prevent issues to maintain site standards and brand alignment
Ability to successfully adapt to change based on business and market needs
Convey a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude towards tackling and resolving issues
Familiarity with ecommerce industry trends and best practices
Interest or knowledge of beauty industry a plus
