About the Role

This Clinique E/M Commerce Assistant Manager will lead’s on site merchandising and marketing content strategy and lead all A/B and multivariate testing on This role will be the point person with business analysis tied to marketing and site data. The role will work with a number of internal and external stakeholders to help deliver a best in class omni experience. The Assistant Manager will report directly to the Executive Director of Clinique Online.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Owner of site merchandising and editorial voice on

  • Partner with Acquisition, Retention and Public Relations colleagues on site merchandising or content needs necessary to support unique programs (i.e. Seasonal e-mail campaigns, The Wink, etc)

  • Responsible for merchandising of all product details and editorial content modules on site.

  • Detailed understanding of the North America Marketing Calendars (product launches, promotions, campaign priorities, selling strategies, etc).

  • Comprehensive understanding of content tools necessary to load and maintain product details and content (including but not limited to .net, CMS, etc) on site.

  • Implementation of A/B and multivariate site testing strategy with 3rd party agency.

  • Develop and maintain an on-site merchandising calendar for weekly, monthly and seasonal refreshes of existing content.

  • Maintain promotional site inventory via monthly tracking document.


  • Provides thoughtful analysis through post mortems of marketing and site development initiatives.

  • Deliver weekly KPI and sate of the business report.

  • Liaises with the ELC Online Analytics team on KPI’s, best practices and new site measurement technology.

  • Identifies shifts in market trends, customer purchase behavior; provides inventory, collection sell thru and mix of business analysis working together with the Clinique brand CRM team

  • Helps streamline, build and maintain reporting templates.


  • Bachelors Degree and 4 years related experience in CPG marketing; online marketing, etc.

  • Experience with online analytics platforms. Google Analytics preferred but not required.

  • Online content creation and product merchandising experience preferred but not required.

  • Excellent organizational, presentation and time-management skills.

  • Appreciation for fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
