PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Assistant Product Marketing Specialist in the Outdoor Living department will collaborate and report directly to the Senior VP of Seasonal Department but will work in tandem with multiple department Product Managers.
Work closely with international teams including sourcing, manufacturing, and testing agencies to guide and maintain product timelines.
Own P&L for all seasonal products and new launches.
Build and maintain documentation used to coordinate cross-functional operations.
Communicate project timeline progression with international divisions including Germany, China, etc.
Work closely with department’s sales and marketing teams
Set up item SKUs, data, and pricing into internal IBS system.
Conduct competitive and new opportunity analysis on a regular basis.
Coordinate sample shipments to customers / vendors / suppliers
Test various products that have been / are being developed and create a result(s) recap to be shared with the team.
1-3 years of experience in similar roles
Experience working with imports
Basic knowledge in managing pricing, P&L’s and/or sales support role.
Bachelor’s degree in business management or related course of study
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to effectively manage and execute projects in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to details, accuracy, and timing.
Must be a self-starter with creativity and initiative.
Ability to communicate effectively and partner with cross-functional teams
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
