Macmillan Assistant, Sales and Marketing in New York, New York

Description

The National Accounts Assistant will provide general support and assistance to Directors, Managers and all accounts in various wholesale/distributor channels and academic/library marketing efforts.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining, tracking, and analyzing sales data and running daily sales, weekly and seasonal reports

  • Managing orders, sales reports, inventory, calendars, and marketing content

  • Assisting in the preparation for account meetings – presentations, title research, gathering materials

  • Operational issues –tracking shipments for accounts and monitoring the progress of orders

  • Miscellaneous projects – assisting the team with various ad hoc projects.

  • Research and analysis as needed.

  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work independently

  • Ability to successfully prioritize and work on multiple projects at a time

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to work comfortably with numbers

  • Proactive with strong organizational and follow up skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team

  • High proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Experience with Google Suite Apps

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Interest in books preferred
