Citi’s Graduate Recruitment & Program Management Team is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Campus Diversity Recruiter who will be responsible for ensuring that the highest caliber candidates are attracted to Citi through appropriate on campus marketing and effective screening of candidates. This role will include supporting the campus diversity strategy, diversity partnerships, implementing on-campus efforts for both summer and full-time recruiting and supporting the full time analyst and associate programs.

The Campus Diversity Recruiter responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage candidate relationships with diverse candidates and establish pipeline of diverse talent by creating opportunities for professional development and early exposure to business professionals. Build pipeline of talent for campus summer and full time programs.

  • Partner with line of business campus recruiters, diversity partners, affinity groups and internal stakeholders to implement sourcing strategy and maintain outreach efforts. Build relationships with diversity partners and professionals involved in diversity recruiting to ensure diversity efforts are in line with broader campus recruiting strategy.

  • Liaise with recruiters to ensure that candidates from partner organizations are integrated into the recruiting process.

  • Coordinate and manage relationships with select college and university career centers, HBCUs and faculty to create recruitment plans, marketing strategies, professional development and retention initiatives. Analyze progress and results at assigned schools, identify best practices and develop strategic recommendations for future recruiting.

  • Communicate employment value proposition to candidates to drive candidate engagement and interest in employment.

  • Serve as an advisor and resource to lines of business recruiters to find new and innovative approaches to attract diverse candidates, implement short and long-term organizational diversity recruitment objectives and practices, ensure diversity strategy is developed for each campus and that effective diversity events are deployed on campus.

  • Foster deep relationships with specialist organizations and build partnerships with groups and individuals who can act as connectors to top diverse talent.

  • Update and monitor online applicant tracking system for schools/businesses and report on entry hiring and full-time program statistics as requested.

  • Perform ad hoc administrative duties as needed.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

The ideal candidate will be a college graduate, preferably with 3 plus years of experience working in the recruiting function of a financial services company.

  • Desire to be in a service-oriented environment with enthusiasm and high level of interest in Recruiting.

  • ​Ability to source talent through social media channels and other networking activities.

  • Ability to prioritize as needed while handling multiple time-sensitive projects in a very fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational skills, work ethic, initiative, sense of urgency and attention to detail.

  • Strong technical skills, including significant experience using Word, Excel and PowerPoint-Strong project management, creative problem-solving skills and ability to act independently.

  • Team player with flexibility to accommodate different personalities and work styles as well as confidence to manage senior interactions and expectations.

  • Commitment to great candidate experience and candidate care.
