Description

The Associate is responsible for a broad range of influencer, media and

product marketing activities in support of the Bobbi Brown Cosmetics brand.

Position reports directly to the Brand Manager of Complexion Bobbi Brown North

America. Responsibilities include assisting in all aspects of new launches, Consumer

Engagement execution, developing and maintaining seasonal marketing grids,

administering entries, and conducting category/competitive analysis.

Performance

/ Market / Competitive Tracking and Reporting 20%

  • Workclosely with the team to develop category reviews/NA market reviews for thepertinent segments of the business which involves thorough research on trends,competition, consumer dynamics and requires analyses, identification ofopportunities and strategic recommendations

  • Workclosely with team to develop launch recaps including sales performance,advertising, merchandising, in-store, special events, and digital results

  • Abilityto look at internal sales trends, market and consumers trends and develop estimatesfor future sales by category and key subcategory, collaborating closely withAccount Management

  • Supporttracking all paid influencer partnership activity with understanding of bestperformers based on KPIs, ROI to make recommendations for future activity andpartnerships.

Product Marketing

30%

  • Partnerclosely with Global, Merchandising, Education, Demand Planning, AccountManagement and other cross-functional groups in the execution of marketingprograms.

  • Supportsdevelopment of nation-wide assortment plan and works with Account Lead andAccount & Sales Planning to inform door-level assortment plans

  • Tracksand ensures that non-saleable collateral is being produced against timeline forcampaigns

  • Supportanalysis of all pricing increases including competitive benchmarking

  • Supportsproduct marketing preparation for Sales and Retailer meetings including comps,advertising board requests, lab samples and video/presentation assets, as wellas regional and strategy meetings on an as-needed basis.

  • Supportscommunicating program / category /market strategies to the field in a timelymanner

  • Secure preview samples/products with GlobalMarketing ahead of launch

Consumer

Engagement Marketing 30%

  • Supportexecution of National 360 Consumer Engagement plan inclusive of National Media,Influencers, PR & Events.

  • Supportmanagement of agency partners and internal cross-functional team to executebrand tactics as part of Integrated Marketing Communication process

  • Supportthe development of locally-relevant social content

  • ManagePR and Influencer execution; Help identify, cultivate and maintain meaningfulrelationships with a broad spectrum of editors, bloggers, makeup artists andinfluencers across YouTube, Instagram and other relevant platforms, utilizing PopularChips and other data sources.

  • Supportexecution of Instore Event strategy to be regionally relevant and executablein-store

  • Supportsmanagement of program development timelines, coordinating with allcross-functional teams to ensure programs are completed on time with the allthe necessary level of detail and local tailoring (including retailer needs)and effectively communicated to the field on time.

  • Developsclear list with timing for all assets required for marketing campaigns

Budget

Management & General Duties 20%

  • Supportdevelopment of annual advertising budget and update monthly. Recommend tacticalplans to ensure the most efficient spend of marketing funds with maximum salesimpact.

  • Partner with Brand Manager on Finance tracking inSAP and PO Creation

  • Responsible for managing and executing PRmailing programs, fulfilling product requests, inventory ordering, organizationof PR closet and maintaining PR supplies.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • TheIdeal candidate will have 2 years related experience with end-to end prestigebeauty product launches, Innovation ideation and product development, globalstrategic marketing plans for products/categories, and product briefdevelopment

  • Undergraduatedegree required with BA in related field

  • Highlyorganized & pro-active self-starter with a strong ability to managemultiple projects simultaneously and take complete ownership of projects.

  • Adept& detail-oriented who ensures that all deliverables are completed in atimely manner; removes barriers to move faster.

  • Agile,resilient and adaptable to change; experiments and adapts to win; questions thestatus quo

  • Stronginterpersonal skills; ability to lead cross-functionally and buildrelationships internally and externally

  • Stronganalytical skills combined with a high level of creativity and strategic vision

  • Excellentwritten and oral communication skills, ability to independently set prioritiesand motivate others

  • Interestand passion for North America marketing including Product, National Media, InfluencerMarketing, PR, Retail Marketing, and Competitive landscape
