PVH Corp. Associate Designer (CK Men's Shirt) - PVH Corp. in New York, New York

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Associate Designer is essential to assisting in building the seasonal development of product from concept to on-time completion in alignment with the division's goals. This includes supporting the design team lead in the creation of print and pattern through the use of Photoshop, Illustrator, Dobby Pro and 3D software. The Associate Designer is also involved in the administrative functions related to the development of product.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Understand the modern design aesthetic for brand development

  • Design trend right product in collaboration with design lead

  • Execute and design patterns for development in CAD software

  • Input NYO hand looms comments into PLM software

  • Work independently with proper direction from manager

  • Set-up and assist in preparations for seasonal line presentations to cross-functional teams

  • Attend and participate in product fittings

  • Create compelling trend boards

  • Generate presentation line sheets

  • Conduct seasonal design and market research

  • Adapt to other related job functions at the discretion of the manager as needed

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

  • 2 to 3 year’s related experience required

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree or Equivalent

Skills :

  • Creative and driven

  • InDesign

  • Dobby Pro

  • Photo Shop

  • Illustrator

  • Excel

  • Browzwear 3D

  • Visulon and PLM
