  • At least 5 years of work experience, ideally in both account management and new business

  • Seasoned written and verbal communications skills with ability to adapt writing to voice that resonates with whoever audience, e.g., prospective client

  • Successfully work with senior management as well as team members of all levels

  • Must be able to inspire confidence and motivate all members of a team from the most junior to the most senior

  • Manage junior team members in a way that is encouraging and motivates them to do their best

  • Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and tight deadlines

  • Proven creativity and ability to come up with new, innovating thinking and ideas

  • Must be able to see and manage big picture as well as focus on the finer details

  • Ability to owning, managing, and driving projects to the end

  • Excellent project management skills (capable of running large scale pitches, well organized, high attention to detail)

  • Travel as needed on a per-project basis

  • Advanced computer skills (PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe, Excel, Photoshop)

The Associate Director of Business Development will be an integral part of our team. Your role will help drive the collaboration and growth of our agencies within the Omnicom Media Group global network, working on a variety of new business initiatives. You should have an understanding of business implications at all times, have a keen sense of urgency and exceptional organizational and communication skills. This is a fast-paced and high-profile role. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is able to move quickly but precisely – efficiency and collaboration are key. You may be responsible for managing junior team members at times – developing their skills, evaluating their performance and helping manage their growth.

  • Support the end-to-end development and delivery of new business pitches

  • Support RFI submissions, including interpreting the questions asked, organizing a team to answer questions, following up on responses, and tailoring as needed

  • Develop a deep knowledge of Omnicom Media Group agencies and capabilities, contacts, past pitches and case studies

  • Ensure highest quality pitch process by driving pitch timelines and adherence to deadlines

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Work closely with our internal creative services team to produce pitch related materials

  • Manage budget on all projects, ensuring new business activities are delivered within budget
