Yeshiva University Associate Director of Athletics / Senior Woman Administrator in New York, New York

Position Summary:Based out of the Beren Campus in midtown Manhattan, the Associate Director of Athletics/SWA will help set policies and procedures and assist in the day-to-day operations of the athletics and recreational programs. The ideal candidate will be expected to understand and emphasize the mission of Yeshiva University and hold the program and student-athletes therein to the same standards set forth by the entirety of the institution. The Associate Director/SWA may oversee facility and event staff, recommend purchases and vendors, and work directly with athletic administrators from other schools.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Oversee facilities, recruiting, hiring, and training coaches, staff, and student employees
  • Oversee scheduling and field rentals of intercollegiate contests
  • Manage events and coordinate transportation, food, and other travel needs of athletics teams
  • Perform end-of-season/year evaluations
  • Ensure departmental compliance with the NCAA and Skyline Conference
Experience & Education Background:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Masters preferred
  • 3-5 years of related athletics experience, preferably at the collegiate level
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Google docs
  • Excel
  • Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator are not required, but a plus
  • Ability to work various hours, including nights and weekends throughout the year
  • Excellent written/oral communication
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Familiarity with statistics software
  • Ability to work as part of a team and develop effective relationships with peers, students, and employees
  • Assumes responsibility to ensure issues/concerns will be addressed and monitors them through the conclusion
  • Identifies, defines, and analyzes information and situations before recommending a course of action
Salary Range:$70,000 - $80,000
