Position Summary:

The Associate, eLearning, Travel Retail Worldwide will be responsible for administration and global coordination of the Travel Retail Education Hub E-Learning site (content upload, translation management, translation budget management) as well as overseeing all community and help-desk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learning the form and function of the back-end of the E-Learning Content Management System (training to be provided by internal team)

  • Management/Ownership of all processes as it pertains to translations:

  • Transfer of content between NYO content development, Translation Agency, Regional Content Validators ensuring that all content is translated and checked in a timely manner

  • Timeline management of translations in order to properly set expectations for Learning Platform updates

  • Budget Management – Partner with Content and ELearning Directors to ensure that proper budgets are in place and properly managed, communicating quickly should sometime be out of line.

  • Lead and own the population of all content for Travel Retail E-Learning in all 11 languages

  • Uploading all TRLX content in all 11 languages onto the back-end system of Travel Retail E-Learning

  • Ensure bug-free execution with proper communication should issues arise

  • Management of market administration privileges for NYO, corporate contacts, Regional BA’s (in conjunction with Regional Education Hub team members and Regional Sales and Education Executives)

  • Ensure that needed information is provided by BA

  • Supervise permissioning process in order to ensure that all E-Learning users have access to the proper content for their role

  • Follow up with regional teams to ensure that team members who have left the company no longer have access to the E-Learning

  • Partner with E-Learning Director and Executive Director to provide relevant E-Learning information to Retailers for use on their E-Learning platforms

  • Export learning modules to SCORM files (training to be provided in-house)

  • Ensure that Retailers update their E-Learning seasonally should any branded information require updates

  • Supervise the E-Learning Community

  • Monitor comments on the E-Learning platform ensuring that all commenting and conversation is appropriate and professional

  • Help to compose and coordinate responses from the NYO and Regional Teams when necessary

  • Create a library of legally approved responses for frequently asked questions

  • Manage help inquiries for the E-Learning platform users

  • Respond to “Help” emails when automated responses are not appropriate

  • Partner with GIS and E-Learning Director to manage communication and fixing of system bugs

  • Assist Content Director with E-Learning Module Building

  • Edit learning modules in Articulate Rise

  • Partner with branded market teams in order to source proper imagery for branded content

  • Manage follow up with brands to ensure that usage rights are maintained for Travel Retail ELearning

  • Upload all images as needed into the E-Learning platform

Qualifications

  • University degree preferred

  • 3 years’ experience

  • Extraordinary attention to detail, error-free execution

  • Outstanding organization skills

  • Project management skills – must demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments, regions while also working independently

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills when communicating with people of all levels in our organization

  • Fully capable of using MAC & PC software including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Basic knowledge of Photoshop is helpful

  • Enthusiasm for learning new technology

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Growth mindset and optimistic, positive, can-do attitude
