About the Role

The Associate of Retailer.com will be responsible for managing and driving the online sales goals for La Mer across retailer.com sites by executing online marketing and merchandising programs and associated forecasting and creative production activities. This role will report to the Executive Director of eCommerce and work strategically with the Sr. Manager of National Accounts, Account Management & Trade Marketing and Key Account Directors.

Managing activity plans for Business Results and Growth

  • Drive Online results by executing updates to assortment, merchandising, promotion and digital shelf

  • Partner with nominated retailer accounts to execute joint business plans (e.g. boutique site updates, sample shipments, and post-event performance summary)

  • Liaise with brand Marketing and Creative Services to brief retailer partner boutique refreshes for site merchandising assets and deliver in a timely fashion

  • Routinely audit and QA retailer sites for accuracy in all product launches, marketing, and event merchandising

  • Assist in driving retailer co-op marketing/paid media, planning and execution with Sr. Manager of National Accounts and Account Management Teams

Reporting and planning

  • Maintain product launch, promotional calendar, and side-by-sides, minimizing channel conflict in programming to monitor and communicate major account and competitor activity

  • Provide weekly sales reports by online accounts and its adherence to plan; explain key business drivers and identify volume opportunities to meet Plan

  • Provide ad hoc sales analysis for nominated accounts to support business decisions and inform customer planning

  • Forecast samples for retailer programs and work with cross-functionals to source and ship samples in a timely manner

  • Serve as subject matter expert in retailer.com; share best practices and test & learn results with cross-functional teams (Account Management, Trade Marketing, Consumer Engagement, Creative & Global Marketing).

Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience in online marketing /ecommerce. Beauty/Personal Care experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of retail business and ecommerce best practices in site merchandising, digital marketing, online analytics

  • Brand management experience, work in highly matrixed organizations preferred

  • Strong business writing, communication, and organizational skills

  • Drive to achieve challenging retail growth targets

  • Ability to work cross functionally with a wide group of people from all levels

  • Must be able to demonstrate sound commercial judgment, comprehensive decision making and problem-solving skills

  • Confident, optimistic, can-do attitude and a team player

  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally
