Position Overview: Associate, Trade Marketing, Clinique NA
In this role, you will support the execution of trade marketing initiatives aimed at driving product visibility, engagement, and sales across key retail channels. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the development of in-store promotions, merchandising strategies, and retailer relationships. The ideal candidate is passionate about the beauty industry, has a strong understanding of retail marketing, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support Trade Marketing Campaigns:
• Assist in the execution of trade marketing campaigns and programs for key retail accounts, including department stores, beauty retailers, and online channels.
• Coordinate logistics for in-store promotions, product launches, sampling programs, and seasonal campaigns.
• Support the development and distribution of trade materials such as point-of-sale (POS) displays, product samples, signage, and promotional content to ensure alignment with campaign objectives.
• Help maintain the campaign calendar and track key milestones, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time.
- Retail Account & Partner Collaboration:
• Assist in managing relationships with key retail partners to ensure timely execution of marketing programs and activations.
• Provide retail partners with necessary materials, including product training kits, merchandising guidelines, and promotional assets to support in-store and online activities.
• Assist in the planning of joint marketing efforts with retail partners, ensuring alignment with overall brand and trade marketing goals.
• Help track and monitor the performance of retail promotions and report results to senior team members.
- In-Store & Visual Merchandising Support:
• Support the design and implementation of visual merchandising strategies that showcase products effectively at retail locations.
• Help coordinate the installation of in-store displays, promotional setups, and seasonal campaigns to ensure brand consistency and maximize visibility.
• Collaborate with retail teams to identify opportunities for improved merchandising or display optimization based on consumer feedback and sales data.
- Data Tracking & Analysis:
• Assist with tracking key performance metrics (sales, ROI, consumer engagement) to evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing activities and programs.
• Help collect and analyze retail data and market insights to assess campaign success and provide recommendations for future trade marketing efforts.
• Support in generating regular reports on campaign results, promotional performance, and retail activities for internal stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Support:
• Collaborate with the sales, brand marketing, and creative teams to ensure trade marketing activities align with broader marketing and sales strategies.
• Assist in the coordination of events, product demonstrations, and influencer activations at retail locations to enhance customer engagement and brand presence.
• Support the trade marketing team with ad-hoc projects, including market research, competitive analysis, and brainstorming for new marketing initiatives.
- Budget & Resource Management:
• Assist in tracking trade marketing expenses and ensuring that programs stay within budget.
• Help with the procurement and inventory management of promotional materials, ensuring resources are available when needed for campaign execution.
Qualifications
- • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.• Experience:o 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the beauty, consumer goods, or retail industries.o Knowledge of trade marketing or retail marketing, with experience supporting in-store activations and promotional campaigns.o Experience working with retail accounts or a passion for retail marketing and consumer behavior.• Skills:o Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., retail data platforms, CRM systems).o Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.o Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.o A creative mindset and an understanding of visual merchandising and retail dynamics.• Personal Traits:o Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.o Enthusiasm for the beauty industry and staying up-to-date with market trends and consumer preferences.o Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and remain flexible under pressure.
Pay Range:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $64,350.00 to $93,250.00 . Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
