The Associate,

Trade Marketing is responsible for supporting the sales and market share growth strategy for

the Estée Lauder brand within our North American retail partners. This role acts as the conduit between Account

Management, Marketing and cross- functional team members and retail partners. Implementing

a mix of strategic tactics

including, tailoring of national marketing programs, creation of retailer

specific programs and supporting successful execution of in-store, online and omni

channel activities. The Associate,

Trade Marketing will own the trade marketing strategy and execution for designated

accounts, as well as assist the Trade Marketing team on projects and needs for

the balance of the accounts.


StrategicRetailer Execution

  • Partnerwith Account Management and Trade Marketing Account Points to understand thegoals and objectives for accounts including sales, shipment plans and seasonalobjectives (Holiday, key launch initiatives, retailer exclusives).

DrivesRetailer-Specific and Field-Driven Programs

  • Develop opportunities for seasonal programsand strategies within the market.

  • Calendarize all marketing programs andpromotional vehicles to achieve retail needs and maximize sell-through; Side bySide and Marketing Grid maintenance.

  • Contribute to 360 communications outliningall key initiatives to be executed by the field (visual moments, key animationdistortions, promotions).

  • Track and ensure all assets required formarketing campaigns are on-time for planned programs.

  • Lead development of retailer supportmaterials with respect to marketing and promotions, with the overall goal ofgenerating retailer support and superior execution of programs in store.

  • Assist with the planning and management allsampling efforts, including evaluating for effectiveness.

  • Develop presentations and support materialsfor key meetings including but not limited to sales gathering and MarketMeetings.

  • Intake and propose solutions for all ad-hoc field and retailer requestsfor marketing and/or sales support (image requests, comps, samples, visualcollateral, event opportunities).

  • Attend and support key NOAM Marketingassociated meetings (Market, weekly sales calls, creative meetings, budgetcalls, etc.).

  • Support the execution of marketing plans acrossNorth American retailers.


  • Passport: Co-op plans andtrade fund allocation.

  • SharePoint: Field tools andresources.

  • SAP: PO’s and Invoicing.


  • Partner with Account Lead and Consumer Engagementin the creation of an integrated media strategy across media tactics to driveawareness and engagement while maximizing ROI.

  • Support Co-op Print Advertising Ops Process.

LeadsBusiness Analysis and Monitors KPIs for Effective Allocation of MarketingResources

  • Measuremarketing program effectiveness via regular monitoring of KPI's.

  • Scaleand adopt best go-to market strategies quickly.



  • 2 yearsrelevant experience – to vary depending on seniority of job.

  • CollegeDegree with focus on Marketing preferred.

  • Musthave ability to think strategically and to conceptualize and implement newideas.

  • Exhibitstrong analytical skills and detail orientation with strong problem solvingcapabilities.

  • Strongmulti-tasker, ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines.

  • Havefacility to identify, prioritize and adjust to multiple needs.

  • Requiresstrong oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and teambuilding capabilities with internal functional groups as well as with externalpartners.

  • Flexibility to assist inmanaging developing initiatives and quick turnaround for execution.

  • Ability to takeownership of projects and drive internal and external partners to meetdeadlines.

  • Marketingexperience within Prestige/Luxury Beauty industry is a plus.

  • Must possessexcellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel andPowerPoint.

  • Adobe Photoshopproficiency a plus.


  • High in initiating change, strategicthinking, persuasion, and response to negativity.

  • High degree of proficiency in working withnumbers and quantitative analysis.

  • Thoroughnessand accuracy in executing all tasks.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Marketing experience – either Global orRegion / Affiliate.

  • Passion for growing a business in new andinnovative ways for a leading prestige beauty brand.
