Assurance Advisor, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (Global Treasury), (Financial Services Office) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) , Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY.
Assist clients to improve their treasury function. Work with a team to assist clients with risk management, funding and capital management, cash flow forecasting, treasury technology, post- merger integration, organizational design and cash management. Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40-45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience; OR a Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field, plus 4 years of related work experience.
Must have 3 years of experience working at a financial services company or as an advisor to a financial services company
Must have at least 4 years of experience with process improvement and process documentation
Must have at least 4 years of experience in at least 4 of the following
Treasury organizational structure and transformation
Financial risk management (currency, interest rate, and commodity)
Cash flow forecasting
Cash and Bank relationship management
International treasury center
Debt and investment management
Governance, controls and regulation
Must have one of the following:
Active US CTP certification; or
Active US CPA certification; or
Foreign equivalent CTP certification deemed an equivalent by work location state or sufficient coursework/experience requirements (as determined by Association for Financial Professionals) to obtain US CTP certification within one year of hire.
Foreign equivalent CPA certification deemed an equivalent by work location state or sufficient coursework/experience requirements (as determined by state Board of Accountancy) to obtain US CPA certification within two years of hire.
Travel required up to 50%.
