Special Counsel, Inc. Attorney Recruiting & Development Coordinator in New York, New York

SCI is working with an AmLaw 100 firm who is looking to hire an Attorney Recruiting & Development Coordinator for their NYC office. This is a great opportunity for someone who is in an assistant role or who is doing solely recruiting work and wants to add professional development and diversity responsibilities to their portfolio.
In this role you would:
Plan and execute the annual Summer Associate program.
Schedule interviews.
Coordinate and organize social and business events.
Follow-up on recruiting efforts to candidates.
As a part of a team, develop and implement mentorship program.
Manage recruiting database
Provide on-site assistance at law schools for on-campus interviewing and events.
Coordinate Lateral Recruiting, including but not limited to coordinating each candidate's interview schedule, meeting lateral candidates, overseeing expense approvals, and distributing, coordinating, receiving and reviewing evaluation forms.
Help coordinate office diversity initiatives.
Work to plan and deliver development programs.
Conduct market research regarding legal recruiting trends.
Analyze recruiting statistics, and prepare and submit on behalf of the Firm statistics for NALP, attorney salary surveys, internal presentations, etc.
Coordinate work in various recruiting-related computerized databases and programs.
To be qualified, you must have:
Excellent English (writing and communicating) skills
Solid interpersonal skills
Microsoft Office proficiency
Ability to work on multiple projects under deadlines and pressure
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to work independently and with a team
Strong attention to detail
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 2 years of legal recruiting experience
