Citigroup AVP, Regulatory Risk - CCAR Execution and Analysis in New York, New York
The Regulatory Risk Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Perform quarterly execution of the CCAR 14A end to end process for Citi Private Bank (CPB) portfolios
Perform analysis needed for CCAR model related exercises (enhance existing CCAR models, develop benchmark models used for 14A submissions)
Perform analysis required for CCAR model related to backtesting, sensitivity analysis and etc. required by Model Risk Management process.
Perform analysis and prepare overlay documentation required for quarterly 14A submissions
Help team to respond to regulatory, audit and business questions and provide portfolio insights. Prepare statistical analysis to support these responses to the inquiries
Keep documentation related to CCAR 14A and 14M up to date.
Perform analysis on Risk capital and Advanced / Standardized RWA for CPB portfolios
Help team to manage operational risk as it relates to processes/tasks performed by the team. Perform Quarterly Manager's Control Assessment (MCA) review of team’s entries into the GRC.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
3-5 years of experience in risk management framework.
Very good analytical, mathematical, statistical and problem solving skills, ability to identify trends.
Advanced user of SAS and Microsoft Excel. Skilled user PowerPoint, SharePoint.
Must be able to document procedures and process flows.
Successful candidates will be self-motivated and capable of independently driving results while effectively prioritizing responsibilities and multi-tasking

Effective communication and writing skills.

- Bachelor’s/University degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science, Master’s degree preferred
