What you’ll do

The B2B eCommerce Manager will be responsible for leading the Wholesale business. This program is designed to provide a best-in-class e-commerce solution for businesses and organizations that are more effectively and efficiently served outside of KIND’s regular sales/distribution channels. You will work closely with the Senior Vice President, eCommerce to execute our ambitious 2020 growth strategy and develop our vision and key priorities for 2021. The position is multi-faceted – requiring an effective balance of sales, strategic planning, customer experience, creativity, financial acumen and managerial skill. (ex: The ability to execute at our current scale while simultaneously building capabilities for exponential growth will be critical. Equally vital will be the ability to collaborate and orchestrate work across KIND departments, including IT, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal and others.

And here’s how you’ll do it…

  • Leadership – Take ownership of the end-to-end B2B customer experience and collaborate with other members of the eCommerce team and other cross-departmental KIND team members to drive partner acquisition and profitable growth.

  • Sales – Nurture existing partners and acquire new prospects to expand our partner base. Directly manage the end to end sales process including lead generation, product sell-in, onboarding and retention

  • Marketing - Partner with eCommerce Marketing team to formulate and execute a plan that drives prospects into the funnel and generates more sales activity from existing partners. Develop and test different messages and offers for various paid marketing channels (e.g. paid search, paid social, etc.). Identify appropriate trade shows and publications to reach target segments and drive awareness in a cost-effective manner.

  • Execution - Ensure flawless execution of customer experience with a maniacal attention to detail. Drive B2B product roadmap in partnership with the eCommerce team.

  • Analytics -Monitor performance and data points to rapidly detect and address any challenges or new opportunities. Work with the Digital Analyst to ensure insightful analysis and to improve the overall B2B business. Mine existing data to determine quick wins. Provide frequent reporting of quarterly and annual KPIs and sales targets.

  • Consumer Service - Collaborate with the Customer Service team to process partner feedback and optimize the program as necessary.

  • Management – Oversee B2B E-Commerce Coordinator to execute the B2B strategy and day-to-day sales activities. Must be able to provide ongoing hands-on guidance, training and support to maximize program success and stimulate growth opportunities.

Required Experience:

You have…

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 4-6 years of experience in Sales, with progressively increasing responsibility.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to build strong relationships and to collaborate effectively across functions and with existing/potential customers.

  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to distill insights, present findings clearly and drive action based on data

  • Demonstrated success in mid to large size organizations with ‘best-in-class’ processes AND entrepreneurial environments where you’ve had to ‘roll up your sleeves’ and get things done

  • Experience with B2C ecommerce platforms (Magento, Demandware, Shopify, etc.) is a plus

  • Consumer packaged goods experience a plus, preferably in a food business
