What the job does:

We are looking for a driven, passionate superstar to join Team Tilbury as our Brand Marketing Manager. You will Serve as the Brand Strategist for complexion, skincare and Sephora Retail Strategist.

Reporting Relationship: Reports to Director of Marketing, Complexion and Skincare.

  • Responsible for the development and execution of the North America 360 go to market strategy for complexion & skincare, partnering closely with PR, Advocacy, Creative, Commercial, Education, Sales, and VM.

  • Develop and execute Sephora marketing campaign and initiative needs, ensuring all campaigns are 360 and identifying white space opportunities to drive the business, while delivering a strong ROI.

  • Own the marketing calendar and category management by assessing competitive landscape, liaising with Global and planning the execution of key consumer engagement initiatives.

  • Forecast and track business performance for the complexion and skincare categories, measuring success of NPD and Core campaigns.

  • Contribute to the new product concepts based on market trends, competitive activity, brand white space and Sephora specific opportunities.

  • Create materials for internal and external meetings with stakeholders to present marketing programs (i.e., 360 activation plans, market meetings).

  • Develop 360 consumer and brand activation strategy for Charlotte Tilbury. Planning and implementation for both newness and core products inclusive of but not limited to media, creative, brand partnerships, virtual and in store events, paid-review programs, and sampling.

  • Partner with all cross-functional teams to market and promote product launches and 360 brand initiatives (Digital, VM, Trade, PR, CT.com, Sales & Education, Finance). Lead x-functional task forces that guide the successful development and launch of consumer and brand programs.

  • Owns seasonal marketing calendar, including product, big bet activation, visual merchandising overview and promotion.

  • Develop the brand media strategy around complexion and skincare (NPD/core). Continually optimize budget spend and performance.

  • Develop briefs for Charlotte Tilbury Creative Agency, and cross-functional partners for product page assets, social content, collateral, event visuals, and Sephora exclusive packaging needs (i.e. Global Brand Marketing, Creative Agency, Global Product Development & Packaging).

  • Develop and lead Sephora marketing relationships with strategic focus on compelling marketing programs across digital exposures, social, .COM assets, sampling, in-store & virtual events email, social channels and .COM.

  • Plan and execute all Sephora sampling programs with tailored execution. Plan and execute Sephora sampling box initiatives ensuring the timely shipping of samples and post program redemption rate analysis.

  • Manage budget and track business performance against KPIs.

Understand consumer trends and identify commercial gaps based on consumer needs to drive recommendations to influence product innovation.

Go to Market Strategy

Category / Business Management

  • Ability to identify new trends and feed those back to Global to influence product development.

  • Conduct monthly NPD category review and analyses and quarterly competitive review.

  • Develop business strategy for the complexion and skincare categories in partnership with Director of Marketing. Develop a strong Regional point of view on channel distribution to drive market share gains.

  • Leverage consumer insights to inform strategy and decisions.

Requirements

You will have:

  • 5+ years of related Marketing experience with beauty industry experience.

  • Self-starter and highly motivated; capable of working independently, yet collaboratively, within an entrepreneurial founder-led brand.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Thorough knowledge of market/consumer trends.

  • Strategic thinking with demonstrated business acumen and ability to develop recommendations based on data.

  • Ability to influence others, gaining support and buy-in towards a desired outcome.

  • Excellent team player with the ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external partners.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong project management skills—candidate must be comfortable taking on new challenges, and roles to support a lean and growing team.
