Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP Brand Marketing Manager in New York, New York

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Brand Marketing Manager to join our Creative & Brand Management team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of multi-channel campaigns supporting Morgan Lewis business units and products including Pro Bono, Diversity & Inclusion, Recruiting, Engagement and internal clients. The Brand Marketing Manager will partner with internal teams such as Communications, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, Creative and Web to identify opportunities and solutions to support our brand goals.

The role will focus on bringing together resources from inside and outside the organization to achieve project requirements, launch internal and external campaigns and build brand awareness -including cross-functional team leadership, project management, and delivering outstanding customer service to all stakeholders.

The Brand Marketing Manager will serve as an advocate to influence and improve brand awareness and client experience.

This position will reside in our New York office with a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.

Key responsibilities include:

Partners with Communications, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, Creative, Web and internal teams to plan, manage, and oversee the execution of brand marketing deliverables

Partners with new product teams to provide marketing launch support

Establishes deadlines and milestones related to team goals, initiatives, and projects

Communicates and resolves issues that can impact the on-time delivery of projects

Facilitates relationships between teams, drive projects forward, and effectively allocate resources

Prioritizes competing needs with good reasoning and creative solutions

Monitors, analyzes, and measures the effectiveness of marketing initiatives to develop insights and make recommendations

Understands the role of content, not only within marketing channels, but within the consumer journey and plans and creates towards solutions to reflect those requirements

Monitors competitive landscape, stays on top of global trends, and strives to educate and evangelize internally - ultimately helping to keep the firm ahead of the curve

Drives marketing excellence globally through establishment of best practices and innovation across all channels with a consumer-centric approach that drives Morgan Lewis as a global brand

Coordinates resources across multiple projects, initiatives, and teams

Mentors, develops, and coaches team members for optimal performance

Works daily with stakeholders and teams across the firm to ensure client priorities and voices are heard

Gathers and organizes assets ahead of campaigns and launches for business products

Creates high-quality content and creative assets to communicate across digital (website, blog, search, social, email, video) and traditional (PR, events) channels

Develops integrated marketing campaigns to build awareness (e.g. press, blogs, events, interviews, webcasts, presentations, infographics, marketing collateral)

Builds and manages a rich content calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties including website, blogs and social media channels

Creates a wide range of written marketing materials for print and digital use

Develops content related to internal and external communications

Experience and qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (preferably in marketing or related field) and five years of relevant experience in strategic marketing and integrated campaign execution, with a minimum of two years in a leadership role.

Experience in professional/consulting services and/or legal field preferred.

Strong combination of creative talent, excellent project management and budget management skills.

Excellent storytelling, verbal and written communications skills.

Demonstrated ability to craft and execute marketing strategy and tactics, and manage budgets.

Keen understanding of brand marketing and marketing support services.

Experience in the production of campaigns, printed collateral presentations, websites, videos, and other marketing materials.

Superior customer service mentality and ability to maximize internal and stakeholder relationships across teams to plan and drive business goals.

Team player with leadership and people management skills.

A superb track record for project and program management, execution, and team management.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a wide range of individuals with differing opinions and diverse personalities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive self-starter; strategic thinker.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business and professional publications, prepare business correspondence, proposals and reports, effectively present information to internal groups and individuals, managers, clients and vendors.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.

Ability to take initiative, anticipate needs, and exercise independent, sound judgment and a high degree of discretion.

Successful candidates must have a basic technical proficiency in the following:

PC and Mac platforms

Project Management software including Workfront

Document management software including Microsoft Office, iManage, and Adobe Acrobat
