TheBroadcast Associatewill beresponsiblefor a variety of production responsibilities to support our gameand studio coverage.Responsibilities includecoordinating graphics on live gamebroadcasts and studio shows, as well as sport specific research, not limited to but including NFL and collegefootball, collegebasketball, and PGA Tour golf. TheBroadcast Associate will also beinvolved with obtaining, organizing, and logging video footagefor usein shows and other productionelements.

This position is freelanceand will cover our fall and spring seasons. The position will start August 1st, 2024 and will concludeat the end of May 2025.Nights, weekends and holidays are to be expected.

Responsibilities:

• Research ideas and statistics that would make for interesting, storytelling graphics on live game telecasts.

• Oversee building of graphics from start to finish, including editorial content, layout and accuracy.

• Coordinating the live use of graphics on a variety of sporting events.

• Help organize, screen and log videotape for use in broadcasts.

• Assist Producers and Associate Directors with edits and other production content.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred.

• Educational or work experience in journalism, communications or production fields is preferred.

• Experience in sports studio/broadcast environments, or other sports media fields, a plus.

• Excellent working knowledge of and interest in sports, especially college football and college basketball.

• Ability to work well with others and thrive in a group working environment.

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Travel to games and events is expected.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $20.0 - 21.5.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
