Summer Intern - Engagement Practice (New York Office Position)

Job Summary: Responsible for supporting the Engagement Practice with developing and proofing communication materials, conducting research on companies, businesses and other initiatives, creating presentations and providing administrative and project management support.

Key Job Responsibilities/Job Description:

  • Assists with drafting, editing and revising communication materials and presentations

  • Proofreading text and reviewing graphic designs

  • Gathering information and documenting outcomes for both client work and driving new business and innovation

  • Providing project management support

  • Assists with proposal development and assembling finalist presentations

  • Expand knowledge base regarding employee engagement offerings as well as services offered by other Buck practices

  • Manages special projects or assignments as instructed by supervisor

Qualification Requirements:

  • Possesses critical-thinking skills, strong attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proactive and eager to learn with ability to take initiative

  • Demonstrates interest in human resources and employee benefits

  • Able to work well both individually and in a team environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Adobe Suite of tools a plus

  • Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources or Business Administration
