**Overview of the Role**

A& M's Tax practice works with multi-national companies, high profile investment banks as well as leading private equity houses and their portfolio companies.

Building and maintaining deep relationships with the tax personnel at our clients is at the heart of our practice. Our seasoned professionals have the deep technical skills and experience required to deliver complete tax advisory and compliance services that support clients' commercial transactions across all industry sectors.

We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to sit within our EMEA Tax practice. Working together with senior leadership and across the team, the individual will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, gravitas and be able to form a strong working network across the business.

**Main responsibilities include:**

- Help the team identify and target potential clients across Europe
- Work with European Managing Directors to agree and maintain the target list (Clients; Relationships and Industries) and drive the targeting plan
- Proactively support Managing Directors' go-to-market efforts through refining target criteria and sharing good practice
- Monitor and evaluate progress of pipeline and targets through data consolidation and own various BD/Targeting pipeline meetings, agendas and actions
- Research trends and latest developments in the market, including Hedge Funds, PE Houses and Investments Banks in the market
- Own, maintain and update various information databases

 

- Act as the central knowledge management function for Tax
- Own and maintain the go-to-market documents and marketing collateral
- Maintain and update the case study database
- Support team with external client proposals and pitches

 

- Act as administrator for Salesforce, including
- Maintaining and developing pipeline dashboards/ reports and supporting analysis and interpretation of data
- Keeping a keen eye on Salesforce usage and the opportunity pipeline
- Delivering periodic KPI's from Salesforce and input into the annual review process.



**Ideal candidates will have:**

- Knowledge or previous experience of the Tax market would be ideal but is not as essential as a keen and demonstrated interest in learning more about this sector
- Experience with a CRM system, ideally Salesforce, desirable
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Analytical capabilities
- Good Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to take ownership of work and work to tight deadlines
- A positive attitude, energetic approach and self-motivation
- Fluency in other European languages desirable but not essential
- University degree (ideally Financial background)
