Working as part of a team, you will collaborate with Marketing, Sales Administration, Technical Account Managers and Product Managers to foster AdaCore's overall growth strategy.The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:Initiating new business relationships with North America prospectsBringing in new US-based logos as part of the AdaCore customer baseGrowing new US-based accounts through cross-selling and upselling opportunities,Handling relevant incoming leads from pricing requests and marketing activities,Contributing to team revenue objectives,Collaborating with the marketing, sales administration, technical account managers and product managers to prospect new potential accounts and qualify new business opportunitiesQualifications: 5 - 10 years of BtoB sales and business development experience with a tech company, preferably in the embedded systems spaceAbility to prospect and create new relationshipsPre-existing contact network in one or more of the following markets: Automotive, Rail, New Space, Medical, Industrial Automation, Unmanned Aviation and Maritime SystemsFluent EnglishExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customersAbility to travel in north americaSmall-company or start-up experienceAbility to adapt to changing circumstances quickly while remaining focussed on goalsCompensation:  $145,000 - $155,000 (Base)Beyond the jobWe are looking for people who want their work to have a direct impact on improving the reliability, safety, and security of the software that modern society has grown increasingly dependent on in an international environment. Minimum Salary: 145,000 Maximum Salary: 155,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
